community outreach

The 5 days for homelessness Campaign consists of:

1. Remaining on campus for five days. The campaign begins 5pm local time on the Sunday of the campaign week and ends at 5pm local time on the Friday.

2. 100% of the funds donated to participants are passed on to the Kingston Youth Shelter.

3. Sleeping outside (voluntary). This is done solely to show our dedication to the 24 hour campaign.

4. Attend all classes. Participants will complete all academic and extra curricular responsibilities, including student organizations and teaching positions.

During the first week of March, Queen’s University students will sleep outside for “5 Days for Homelessness” - a campaign aiming to create awareness about homelessness in Canada, and raise funds for the Kingston Youth Shelter.
